Miss Ghana Pageant

KIKI MATILDA SEFAKOR: She represents the Western Region and is endowed with an admirable height of 6 feet. Bsc (Hons) Psychology undergrad Kiki, as affectionately called by her peers is vivacious, amiable and intelligent. Kiki is incredibly hilarious to be with and makes good use of every opportunity that comes her way. She loves spending quality time with her family.

JASMINE SEYRAM AKORTSU: Representing the Central Region, Jasmine radiates love, elegance and is awe-inspiringly smart. Soon to graduate with a B.sc in Business Administration from the Central University. She admits that representing her region is a dream to her and this crown will make that dream a reality.

SELASIE NANIETTA AGBITOR: Twenty year old Selasie is a film director in the making from NAFTI (National Film and Television Institute). She is representing the Greater Accra Region. She is a people oriented person and who motivate others to achieve the impossible. Her favourite food is Banku with okro soup.

SYLVIA TIEKU: Representing Upper-East, her fellow contestants describe Sylvia as being full of life. Twenty-one and an undergrad of KNUST, she is an avid reader of classics and history. She enjoys listening to inspirational songs. She is confident, amiable and persuasive.

MARGARET KUMA-MINTAH: Margaret is twenty-two and is studying sociology, linguistics and information studies at the University of Ghana. Like the pop star Micheal Jackson sang, making the world a better place for the generation and those unborn is her passion. She represents the Central Region.

ZULEIYA TANKO: Representing the Ashanti region, nineteen year old senior high school graduate. Zuleiya is intelligent, hardworking and very determined to be crowned Miss Ghana 2013. Her reason being that it is a great honor to serve her country in this ambassadorial position.

GOLDA ABA DAYI: Silky skin beauty Golda, who has a heart of gold believes in the almighty God, hard work and living the moment. Golda represents the Brong Ahafo region. As college graduate in Radio Broadcasting, she has her eyes definitely set on the crown. At twenty one, she likes listening to Music and playing basketball.

DESTINY AGNES ACQUAH: International Diplomat and conflict expert in the making is Destiny, who is studying political science and conflict resolution. She represents the Brong Ahafo Region. Twenty-one year old destiny enjoys reading, and questioning the ‘status quo’.

EMELDA KPAKPO: Twenty-three year old Bsc. Painting graduate can be likened to Leonardo Davinci by her contemporaries. She paints with a passion and enthusiasm. Emelda represents the Northern Region and is highly confident of been crowned tonight.

MAUREEN ESI ABOKOMA MICAH: Ebony beauty Maureen represents the Volta Region and an undergrad of the Ghana Institute Journalism is twenty two years old and has got the gift of Gab. Maureen oozes confidence and versatility in many ways. She believes handwork doesn’t break bones, and Miss Ghana tonight is no other than her.

GIUSEPPINA BAAFI: Gorgeous Giuseppina is twenty-two and has a firm grasp of arithmetic. Sometimes referred to as the daughter of Archimedes. She is an accounting student representing the Eastern Region. She believes in attaining excellence in every aspect of life. She enjoys pea-nut soup with fufu

MAAME SERWAA ARKOFUL: Representing the Greater Accra Region and a manageress in the making is twenty-three year old svelte who’s got her eyes on the prize. She manages her mum’s chain of hotels and believes in doing things right or not at all.

SAFOA MUMMIE EISENHOWER: Fierce, fabulous confident, are some of the many adjectives that describes Safoa. A twenty-one year undergrad of Accra Polytechnic pursuing fashion and textiles. Representing the Volta Region, Safoa’s sophisticated elegance and intelligence can sometimes be intimidating, but she says, ‘A queen must possess all these and more, or she is not fit to be called one’.

PAULA MICHELLE ADDO: Big things they say sometimes comes in small packages. Petite frame, confident and ever smiling Michelle represents the Upper West Region. She personifies a true lady with a go-getter attitude and determination that can move mountains. Twenty-one year old interior designer Michelle, says she is an inch way clinching the coveted crown.

ABIGAIL EKUA ADDO: Twenty-three year old Abigail is graceful, and has a soft spot for orphans. Like her mentor Oprah Winfrey, she hopes to be crowned the queen so she can cater for many orphaned kids globally. As a graduate from Pentecost University with honours in Human Resources, she represents the Western Region.

BELINDA BIAMAH ASIAMAH: Twenty year old, multilingual and sociology student of the University of Ghana is not just beautiful, smart and intelligent, but is on a mission to change the world one step at a time. Representing the Ashanti Region, Belinda loves to tap-dance and enjoy listening to soulful songs during her past time.

ANWITY ANGELA EDINAM: Nineteen year old Angela comes across as an intriguing person. She is intelligent, beautiful, and is studying water resource management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Representing the Northern Region, she often says ‘Never give up, try and try till you succeed’.

CHANTEL RITA ANOMABASE: Service to humanity has been Chantel’s mantra since her formative years. She grew up serving people through volunteering at various charities; assisting the aged and the orphans. She wants to do more if crowned tonight. Chantel loves to read when not caring for people. She represents the Upper-Est region and is twenty-two years old.

CRYSTAL SELORM AMUDZI: The angelic voice that can calm any storm, is the twenty year old student of the University of Ghana. Crystal’s passion and enthusiasm is infectious; she believes in doing good or positively affecting people. She represents the Eastern Region and says ‘A lasting legacy that changes life is worth more than the riches’.

ANYAELE ANGELA: Soft spoken, confident and focused is Angela. A twenty-one year old linguistics undergrad from the University of Ghana. Just like her name, she is an angel on a mission to change the world. She represents the Upper East and loves learning new things anytime the opportunity presents itself.
